Emily and I literally just drove back from the city and it’s safe to say that CMJ tuckered us out pretty hard core. I plan on writing a whole play by play tomorrow, but FYI, on Friday we we’re at the WNYU sponsored show at the Knitting Factory with a few favorites like Japanther, Health, and Old Time Relijun (all bands were hot stuff and completely surpassed expectations. Pitchfork was also at the show and had some pretty sweet pics. Anyway, note Japanther’s use of telephone receivers and Old Time Relijun’s bad ass stand up bass.
